What To Expect:

  • Our therapists will perform a biomechanical examination of both your feet which will include watching you walk, and squat

  • We will scan your feet on a weight bearing pressure plate

  • We will take a 3D laser cast of your foot and ankle

  • We can provide pre-authorization for extended health benefits

  • Once the orthotics are ordered, expect it to take 2 weeks to recieve your orthotics.

  • When you receive your orthotics, it may be necessary to trim the edges to fit your shoes properly. Remove any insole from your shoe and replace it with your new custom orthotic.

  • There is a break-in period, in which you should slowly start to wear your orthotics more each day. It is NORMAL to expect some discomfort while you get used to your prescribed orthotics.

  • If you are having pain or discomfort that is lasting longer than 2 weeks, please contact our office to speak with one of our therapists at 780-980-5443.
