Celebrating Kelly's Achievement: A Milestone in Akhanda Yoga



Leduc Physio is delighted to celebrate a significant milestone in the career of our esteemed team member, Kelly Hunter. With her unwavering dedication to Akhanda Yoga and her expertise in massage therapy, Kelly has achieved her new certification that deserves recognition and celebration. Join us as we honor Kelly's achievement and explore the profound impact of Akhanda Yoga on physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.



Kelly has completed her 200 hour Akhanda Yoga Teacher Training course at Prana Yoga Studio.


PROGRAM OF STUDY INCLUDED:



  • Form, method of instruction, benefits and cautions of asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing techniques) and kriyas (cleansing techniques)

  • Learning to create various class-styles: Beginner, Intermediate, Dynamic Flow

  • Teaching methodology, including yoga for diverse ages and levels, including prenatal yoga

  • Anatomy and the physical/mental benefits of yoga

  • Subtle yogic anatomy and the Chakras

  • Introduction to Ayurveda, nutrition, and the yogic diet

  • Ashtanga philosophy (the eight-fold path)

  • Study and discussion of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, aphorisms giving insight into profound yogic practices, as well as their life-transforming benefits

  • Teaching practicum and feedback from the trainers

She is currently teaching Warm Yoga Core every Thursday morning at 10:00 am at Hom Yoga and Spin here in Leduc.
